In the Tata Harrier and Safari Kaziranga Editions

First of all, the most iconic and setting apart feature of the special edition Tata Harrier and Safari are their paint scheme. The flagship Tata SUVs get a Grassland Beige colour, as an ode to the colour of the terrain at Kaziranga. The cars get a dual-tone roof in Piano Black finish, Granite Black front grille and Piano Black inserts, effectively distinguishing them from the regular models. Expect top of the line features in the car such as LED DRLs and 17-inch alloys.

Besides the paint scheme, the Kaziranga Editions also gets a one-horned Rhino logo on the rear windshield and glovebox, as well as unique Kaziranga scuff plates. The Harrier gets a Satin Black Rhino logo on the front end, and other blacked-out features such as alloys, ORVMs and door handle.

Under the Hood

Powering the Tata Safari and Harrier Kaziranga Editions are the same 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engines which generate 168PS at 3750rpm and 350Nm of torque at 1750rpm. Gearbox options include a six-speed manual and automatic torque converter.

Verdict: Same Car Special Touches

Being based on the standard car's top variants, there are no changes in terms of safety features or engine of the car, but the overhaul for the special edition is purely cosmetic. For those interested, they do get special touches like a dual-tone beige and Piano Black finish on the interior with wooden touches as well. Expect all top-line features in the car as well, including a panoramic roof.
